This is a humanitarian organization that was founded in France forty years ago and is active in 45+ countries. Their vision is to have a world without hunger. Noting that more than 3M children die of malnutrition annually, AAH specializes in addressing hunger and its underlying causes. Core areas of focus are:
- Nutrition & Mental Health
- Food Security & Livelihoods
- Water & Sanitation & Disaster Risk Management
- Advocacy & Awareness
Danny discussed his trip to West Pokot, Kenya in December 2016. This trip focused on Maternal & Child Healthcare, Mother to Mother Support Groups, Men’s Talk (Discussion) Support and the Lokitedel Garden Project that promotes fruit tree farming and garden growing.
