  1. Guest Speaker:                -             Dr. Wayne Chih
  • Introduced by Sai Woo

Dr. Chih gave an excellent presentation of the brief history and workings of Traditional Medicine, Acupuncture, etc.  Conventional medicine is basically modern chemistry.

Trans medicine uses similar chemistry based on physics of medicine.  Time, Temperature, Pressure and Speed.  It also looks at the 5 key parts of the body and the body’s system.  These are Liver, Heart, Spleen, Lungs and Kidney.

Depending on one’s facial colours, one can tell which body part is not working properly.  For example, redness in the face indicates possible heart issues.  Green means liver and black implies kidney issues.  Then it is that body part that is treated with specific herbs to resolve  the problem.

Acupuncture is somewhat similar as it relies on reducing pressure (which causes the pain) in the area of the body that is adversely affected.
