Wine was being served at this meeting and seemed to be enjoyed by all.

Announcements: 

 

Rocco talked about the Auction.

 

Basil Dias discussed the Ribfest total which was $41,000. And our share would was around $5,000. Last year was around $3,900.

He later discussed a breakfast for young professionals coming up on September 20 & 22 at Pinery Crescent.  He is looking for volunteers to serve breakfast as it is a good opportunity for recruiting new members.

 

Jim announced the meeting for September 27 would be cancelled and will be replaced with a meeting on Tuesday September 25 at 6:00 pm at the Scarborough Golf & Country Club for an evening meeting for all the Scarborough rotary groups.

 

Gerd announced an event on September 8, 2018 at 11:30 am at Parkwood in Oshawa being put on by the founder of GM with the guest speaker Mike McGovern.  You can register on the 7070 website.
