An evening of music, singing and dancing featuring SANTHA.
Club Service (Group1) meeting at Rocco’s on Thursday March 12th at 6:30 pm.
Today was the first $25 luncheon at the Delta.
Many members lost electrical power today (no relationship to the $25) or had an extended commute because of non-functioning traffic lights.
Marbelous Draw:    Conducted by Frank Allison and won by Roland List (only $5, the big pot is still available … but only for those who attend and pull the mutant marble).
Sergeant at Arms:    SAA Gordon Brown fined all members who hadn’t been able to attend the wonderful euchre night generously hosted by Ruth and Danny Cassidy.
Peter Masson contributed happy bucks for the end of the Vocational/Community Service POD.
Program:    Gordon Brown introduced our guest speaker, Sarah Palmer, Director of NeuroConnect. Sarah’s company provides advice and assistance after accident injuries, related to obtaining proper legal and medical advice and care. Approximately 50,000 Canadians per year suffer brain injuries, with 40% resulting from car accidents.
Sarah discussed some of the benefits available from insurance, including income replacement, medical and rehabilitation, attendant care and death and funeral expence benefits.
A separate recording of Sarah’s presentation is attached.
