Announcements:
  1. Basil thanked Frank Lipa for his donation of  2 cheques
  2. Basil thanked Cheryl Meredith for her assistance with the TV auction and the cheque from Embridge for $500
  3. Donna shared the group photo and poster from the school thanking the club for the “Warm Hands” program providing the school with gloves.
  4. Roland still has $ 650 in pledges for the City Mission to collect and appealed to the members to pay up.
  5. Basil had a match with Rocco and the score was Basil 0 and Rocco’s homemade Grappa 10.
Marbelous Draw: Basil conducted the draw and Betty drew Jack Wylie’s ticket but as luck would have it he won the consolation prize of $5 which he donated to the club.
Happy bucks: Allan wanted to know how many people bought the stock recommended by Jim Boyko and fined everyone who did not buy it! There were quite a few who were happy for various reasons and donated handsomely.
The wine flowed and everybody had a great time drinking and chatting the afternoon away.
President Basil thanked everyone and concluded the meeting.
