PROGRAM: President Barry advised that the speaker today would be introduced before lunch. Today's speaker our own Saifoo Lau, was introduced by President Barry. Saifoo our member and a long established Toronto Realtor, gave us an update on Toronto's still booming market. (See the attached slide presentation for lots of interesting details). After answers to questions from the floor, Saifoo was thanked by Arthur for his informative talk.
It was noted that that the Agincourt Rotary Club's 40th anniversary celebration was to be held at Baton Rouge on Friday the 12th at 6:00 PM. - Please note: The chartering of the "Agincourt Rotary Club" was sponsored by the North Scarborough Rotary Club. Congratulations Agincourt Club. Basil, announced that he needs volunteers to collect donations at the Scarborough Ribfest Friday August 2nd to Monday August 5th. An e-mail will be sent out, please respond with your availability.
Gordon Brown conducted the draw with the help of our guest Rita who picked Frank's ticket but only $5 2nd price for Frank Allison.
Basil Dias, before asking for happy bucks, Basil extracted some fines from those unware that next year’s Rotary International Convention is in Honolulu Hawaii, June 6-10, 2020
