Sergeant @ Arms: Gerd -  went directly to happy bucks.

Alan happy to be back I think?; Rocco thanked the North Scarborough Choir for singing happy birthday.

Program: Speaker Frank Allison the “Baehdman of Ballantrae” was introduced by Gerd Wengler.

Frank started off by saying his interest in birds goes back to when he was only 5 years old. He has made that a hobby in his retirement by photographing many types of birds during his travels not only here in Canada but overseas, in the tropics and even in Africa.

His presentation included over 40 different species of birds (see Power Point attached). He has tried to photograph many of these birds in their natural habitat rather than just limited to photographing different specimens. At the end of his presentation he did confess that he lost thousands of pictures that he had taken during his trip to Africa because of a computer crash. So many of them would have completed his cataloguing of different birds from around the world.

Alan Meredith thanked Frank for his presentation.
