•Welcome to District 7070’s Rotary Foundation Grant information for the 2025-26 Rotary year.
•Every Rotary and Rotaract Club that wants to participate in the Rotary Foundation’s grants program (Global and District Grants) must be qualified.  This is a requirement by the Rotary Foundation.  The District provides the qualification training.  The qualification is yearly.
•To become qualified, a Club in District 7070 must
•have at least two of its members complete the District training, and the Club President and President Elect must sign and submit an MOU -Memorandum of Understanding – to the District.
•District 7070 offers two ways for Clubs to meet the two-member training requirement:
•Rotarians, who didn’t attend the November workshop, can instead take the online two-module training and related quizzes.
•Qualified Clubs will be displayed on the Districts website.

•The deadline for submitting District Grant Applications is May 31, 2025.
•Once a District Grant project is completed, the Applying Club must submit a Final Report.  A template is available in the left-hand column.
•Similarly, a list of Qualified Clubs is available in the left-hand column.
•For Global Grant applications, please go to the Grant Center at www.rotary.org   International, and Host Partners must be qualified. A completed DDF Request form must be submitted to the District if you want any DDF for your Global Grant project.
•The District will receive less DDF for the 2025-26 Rotary year, as donations to the Annual Fund of the Rotary Foundation were significantly lower during the pandemic.  Therefore, the District may have to make difficult DDF allocation decisions so that valuable DDF can be shared among many worthy causes.

Arthur Retnakaran thanked President Danny for his insightful presentation.
