Dhanni Ramdeen introduced our speaker, Nevine Yassa who started out as a Rotaractor in Egypt. She had the pleasure of translating Rotaract’s constitution from English to Arabic. Navine, has been a Rotarian at the Rotary Club of Scarborough since migrating to Canada.
Navine has worked on many International projects including the FACE project, a project that our club was a participant in to qualify for the District grant. The total application of funds was for $18,500. She went to Egypt to deliver and witness the disbursement of the funds. This project was in partnership with 6 Rotary clubs, including the Rotary Club of Rhein-Nile in Egypt.
