In December 2019 Storefront launched a fundraiser to replace two stove that no longer worked. The stoves in the Eco-Hub Community kitchen are a critical part of their community kitchen, which is also used to run programs like culinary training programs, helping participants develop foundational kitchen and food service skills.
In December one of our club members with expertise in gas appliances visited Storefront and determined that new igniters would solve the problem. To date one of the stoves is fully operational with the new igniters; other igniters are backordered. As of Dec 20, $4940 (61%) of the $8,000 goal has been achieved.
