Announcements:
  1. Arthur introduced his guest, Carolyn Stewart. She is the Financial Adviser at the RBC branch at Victoria Park and Van Horne. She is interested in joining our club.
  2. Basil thanked everyone who assisted in collecting donations at the Ribfest in Thompson Park. He informed us that they had received close to 39K in donations out of which our share would be 3 0r 4K.
  3. Donna informed us that the Woodbridge Rotary Club was having their Ribfest during the weekend.
  4. Gordon announced that the next meeting on Aug 14th will be for the Honorary Members of our Club and is looking for volunteers who can give rides to some of the members.
 
Marbelous Draw: Alan Meredith conducted the draw. Carolyn drew Basil’s ticket but unfortunately he did not pick the magic marble and was rewarded with the consolation prize of $5.
 
Sergeant at Arms:
Kathleen was the Sergeant and she collected happy bucks.
 
 
Alan gave $100 IOU.
 
Gordon was happy about the Premier League starting.
 
Rocco was happy about the Ribfest.
 
Jim was also pleased about the Ribfest.
 
Kathleen was happy about her vacation in Disneyland.
 
Arthur was happy to have Carolyn as his guest.
 
Speaker: President Donna presented  plans for her Presidency. She outlined the objectives and members who will lead.
