Dhanni

Dhanni: Is happy that the COVID numbers are going down and we are now in phase 3 in the GTA.

David Seemungal:  Was up at Lake Simcoe on the weekend and had lunch on a pub patio. He showed a photo he had taken of the sky that day.

Arthur: The zoo is starting up it's Terra Lumina the night time laser show next week and the volunteers get a free pass. Arthur had a joke which cannot be shared here.

Peter: Had a bit of an accident on the golf course. He went to a local walkin clinic and got fixed up with no issues.

Gerd. Had a great time hiking on the Bruce trail on the weekend across the hockley valley. Absolutely beautiful!

Trudy: Trudy had a bit of a scare last week when she had a sore throat and thought that she may have COVID. Trudy likes to try home remedies so she put together honey, garlic, lemon and ginger. She is feeling better now so panic over.

Danny: One positive thing about the COVID situation has been that he now talks to his family in Scotland a lot more. He is being taught guitar by his brother and he asked if it is even possible the get the correct finger placement on an A chord. Very basic lessons. He also managed to meet up with old work friends in London this week for a social distancing lunch.

Basil: Had a trip to Niagara on The Lake on the weekend where he managed to purchase bottles of very hot spicy sauce, spicy malt vinigar, bags of peanuts and of course a case of wine.

Mike: Was happy that the city made it mandatory for face masks to be worn in common elements of apartment buildings. also he was happy that his aircraft will be finished it's annual inspection and he will be able to enjoy some time flying.

Tony was happy that he is now out of isolation after being out of the country although he hasn't really been many places.

Gordon had some bad news as his dog of 14 years died on the weekend. It's always terrible to lose a pup that is, after all, one of the family.

Alan picked his grandchildren up on the weekend and took them to has favourite ice cream store. Good excuse for Alan to get some of his favourite chocolate covered ice cream.

Gerd shared with us details of his flight of his last big flight through Canada up to the North pole, over Greenland and Iceland to Norway then back to Canada.

The link below is Gerds presentation which was really interesting.

The story is also available in Vol. 2 of these books which I can really recommend.  Great Canadian Aviation stories!
