Program: Farewell to Outgoing President Courtney

Past President Basil Dias asked for the attention of Outgoing President Courtney Fisher.

Basil first explained the traditional way North Scarborough Rotary roasts the outgoing president.

A president doesn’t incur any fines during his term as president; however, today, Courtney will get judged by all of us present; he will get praised for a job well done or fined for any wrongdoing.

S@A Frank Allison asked all present for their comments:

Dhanni Ramdeen, - Courtney, great job done.

Barry Smith – happy but disappointed that’s the end of his term.

Gordon Brown – Well done.

Arthur Retnakaran – very happy

Peter Masson – outstanding.

Rocco Colangelo – thanks; well done, Courtney

Frank Allison – all was done perfectly.

Basil, after adding his own comments, said he has raised the bar to the highest has ever been. He then asked Courtney to talk to us about his experience as president.

Everyone had positive comments for Courtney.

Courtney thanked everyone for their comments and all the board members for their support throughout the year.

He then passed the gavel to the incoming president Avrum Liederman who thanked Courtney, and after his comments, President Avrum closed the meeting
