Mike Thanked Maddy on behalf of the club for her presentation which will surely help those in the club who have not ventured into social media and those who do participate but don't really understood how everything works. Maddy offered her services if anyone needs help going forward.

Gerd asked for each member to pick another member and tell us all what they don't like about them! (KIDDING) Gerd asked for Happy Thoughts from the week.

Gerd was really happy that the ladies were present at the meeting to enrich our lives. He also mentioned that he flew a heart transplant patient for an appointment from Elliot lake to London on the weekend for Hope Air.

Danny  Danny was happy that the heart monitor he's been carrying around has now been returned. It looks like his cardiologist is not too worried as his appointment for his results is Sept. 22. He again thanked the club for their contributions to his cancer ride which he will be completing this week.

Gordon was happy that Chelsea won their first two games. Also it was nice to see so many people at the pub night enjoying themselves. On a sad note he mentioned the passing of rock legends Charlie Watts and Don Everly.

Basil mentioned that Arthur is having another birthday this week and Basil has not yet received an invitation for ice cream and cake.

Peter also has a birthday this week but is postponing it until next weekend when he will have all of his family down for a birthday party. The first time in 2 years.

Trudy Had a good week. she had her 2nd shot which unfortunately stopped her from coming to the pub night. Everything else is going well.

Suresh had a wonderful time down in Niagara with his wife from Friday until Tuesday the first time since coming to Toronto.

Courtney's son had recommended that he get Dazn for soccer. Then a friend of his recommended that he get Dazn and our club members had also recommended Dazn so he went ahead and got Dazn. Also, yesterday, with his wife Sandra, he took two of his friends' kids who are 6 and 3 to the zoo and had a fantastic time.

Dhanni was ecstatic about having her two older kids home for the first time together since two Decembers ago. She has been cooking up a storm for the kids while John is out of town in Trinidad. Life is good!

Arthur: Both he and Peter have birthdays both are Virgos. Arthur says Virgos are famous for being nitpickers. His Birthday celebration has been postponed due to the fact that his son is working long hours seeing patients in various hospitals. The date for the celebration is an infamous date: September 11.

Alan broke his golf club shaft but found a new one in California. he got notes from the vendor saying his shaft was being re routed. He then got a note asking him how he was enjoying his new shaft. Alan is feeling that he has been shafted.

Saifoo checked in on social media with Gerd and Arthur. Liked Gerd's post and found out Arthur was having a birthday " Happy Birthday Arthur"

Mike doesn't like flying in all this heat. Enjoyed the pub night and went for a quiet sail.

Dave's 11 year old grand daughter had her first Pfizer shot this week. He is heading down to Florida to see his house which he hasn't seen in a couple of years, and he will then head back to Calgary for his daughter's birthday.
