Alan Meredith: Donations are required. If anyone has contacts with box stores they should approach them for items. Arthur will send the details of all the recipients of the support they received for Barry to send them a request for items. 50% of the proceeds will be returned to the organization that donated the gifts. A firm decision of how the auction is going to be conducted will be made on Oct 31st. Sponsorship details will be sent again.David Seemungal suggested that a bottle drive will be worth considering. Apparently the Whitby Club made $7K in one weekend! David has promised to help.

Any other Items to be addressed:
Arthur and Gerd told some jokes. Gerd described an incident that occurred when he took his dog Sadie for a walk. Apparently a couple on their bikes from his neighborhood collided with each other and they were lying on the ground screaming in pain. Gerd rushed to help them and took them in his car to their home. Examination in the hospital revealed no fractures. And this is why he is referred to in Milton as “St. Gerd”!

President Gordon ended the meeting wishing everyone a pleasant week.
