We cannot be sure whether the items we see and even the comments on those items are coming from a person or a bot. Bots are used to generate customer participation. Bots usually operate over a network; over half of Internet traffic is bots scanning content, interacting with webpages, chatting with users, or looking for attack targets.
In the near term, artificial intelligence (AI) continues to be a key sales catalyst for leading chip suppliers. IDC's latest report projects the semiconductor market will growin 2025, led by AI demand.
The global Influence of India and Africa will slowly increase going forward.
There will be pushback on cancel culture in the coming year, causing possible dialogue on the subject.
The softening of the commercial real estate market will continue in 2025 with the possibility of a slow recovery.
An election will be held this year, which will cause uncertainty in the economy, given the possibility of tariffs.
Cannabis businesses will continue to have problems due to bad management, too many shops, and competition from illegal suppliers.
S&P 500 target 7000.
TSX to lag.
Secular Growth, Banks, AI plays, buy the winners. High Grade the Portfolio.
Early in 2025, expect breadth to be wider. Add a fund like the Wilshire 4500

Expect breadth to narrow as the year develops. That will be a sign that growth fears are getting stronger.
West Texas is going to $50.
Rate cuts continue. Close to 2% by the end of 2025.
Early in 2025, the short end is where the sweet spot is.
Later in 2025, as the evidence of slowing growth mounts, extend duration.
Expect the Trump platform to be implemented early. 1st 100 days of Trump's administration will be impressive.
