Dave Hardy gave a presentation on his trip to the Amelia Island car show.
Dave told us that he wanted to attend classic car shows, inspired by watching them on Saturday afternoons. He showed us a presentation of a trip he made to the Amelia Island car show in Florida, a four-hour drive from where he was staying.
Automotive Class Qualification was discussed. Dave explained that European classic cars and other vehicle types impacted qualification. Not all vehicles presented qualify for the main show but are shown on the peripheral. Qualification was based on categories like sports, GT, and supercars. A total of 50 cars participated in the main show. Those entering vehicles obviously had significant wealth. - High-Value Vehicle Gathering - Observation of approximately 25-30 high-end vehicles. - Speculation about transportation methods, including trucks and possibly private planes. - Note of significant wealth among the vehicle owners, although you can register for a tour of Amelia Island in a classic car if you wish.
Dave's favourite car is the MORGAN.
Dave's presentation is below. I'm afraid the PP and the audio are separate, so just listen to the audio and flip through the presentation on the PowerPoint as you go along. :-)
