Danny Cassidy, “Ride to Conquer Cancer”

 

 

President Avrum introduced today’s speaker (our own) Past President Danny Cassidy to give us with an update on the 2023 Princess Margaret Ride to Conquer Cancer event.

Danny explained to us how he prepared and trained to ride his bike 12 times of the 14 times he participated in raising funds for such a great cause.

Danny's team managed to raise $17,300.00 for the Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto.

President Avrum reminded us of the District Governor's visit on September 20th in the evening at Floga’s.

 

 

 

 

Frank fined himself for not finding a good reason to fine anyone.

Then he asked for happy bucks, 
-    Gordon is happy for a recent TFC win.

 
-     Peter celebrated his 88th Birthday at the Mandarin with the family.

-    Arthur celebrated his 89th Birthday with the family at a great downtown restaurant.

-    Barry was happy to have Riccardo join us today.

-    Avrum was happy with Danny’s presentation.
