Danny Cassidy: Next Wednesday's meeting is a social and we will be playing BINGO. Gordon will be sending out a notice and everyone who wants to attend will need to reply so that we can send out cards. Details to follow.
Speaker: Arthur Retnakaran
As always, an excellent presentation from Arthur, which he titled as Microbiology 101. It was a detailed overview of the human immune system and a history of vaccine development over the centuries, leading up to the different vaccines now available for COVID-19. He also discussed the emergence of the COVID-19 variants (UK, South Africa, Brazil), which may require alternate or booster vaccines.
Gerd said he wanted his hair to look like Dhanni’s and Dhanni mentioned something about plugging in to an electrical outlet to get the desired effect.
Danny was happy that Happiness joined the meeting this week and hopes to see him back again.
The meeting was closed and everyone wished a good week ahead.
