Announcements:        Paul Harris Scholarships Gala this Monday, June 19^th, at Floga at 6:00 PM.

                                    Expecting around 50 persons to witness seven scholars each receive $2,500.

 

                                    President Courtney reminded us about the Interact Club he is helping to get operational.

                                    Avram announced the District Change Over on Friday, June 23^rd, at 5:00 PM at the Port Whitby Marina. The cost is $20, and the registration deadline is Monday, June                                          19^th

Like myself, you too will want to learn about where he’s from, his background, his educational achievements and work experiences, as well as the things he’s passionate about.

I have a bio that would take this entire meeting and more to fully describe, and which I hope all of you will take the time to talk to Vijay about as you get to know him and welcome him into North Scarborough Rotary.

Suffice it to say; I’ll only take enough time to whet our appetites with some of this.

Vijay is a medical doctor in Community Medicine, has studied Global Health Governance, has a Ph.D. in International Relations focused on Global Health Diplomacy, and has a diploma in Internation Law.

Vijay has worked in HIV/Aids in areas of global health such as Maternal, Newborn Child Health, Polio, tuberculosis, Zika, Ebola, and Covid-19.
