Toast to the King, Canada, and Rotary: President Gordon
Announcements:

Gerd announced that our Club has received a substantial donation of $12,000 from First National, a generous Mortgage Broker.
Sergeant at Arms:
SAA Frank collected a fine from Rocco for shuffling papers during the anthem.
Happy bucks were received from Frank for a creditable response from Prime Minister Trudeau and Premier Ford, from Gerd for a stiff joke, and from Basil in memory of Frank Allen.
Guest Speaker: Our first “unintroduced” guest speaker told us about his holiday in Bermuda with Dorothy and their two dogs, a very interesting flight, and a stay on the beach.
Our second guest speaker, introduced by President Gord, enlightened us about a series of interesting books about a “separated woman with no rent money, “a “man called Ove,” and a “would-be bank robber.”
Saifoo also described the current Real Estate market as composed of vendors and purchasers sitting on the fence, waiting for a deal to fall into their dreams. Saifoo also told us about his volunteer work with various organizations.
Arthur thanked Saifoo for stepping up to the plate in the absence of our sick and rescheduled speaker.
