Please join us on Friday July 11th at Sue and Gordon's home for the Charter / President's Party. As in past years we will have it catered by The Village Grocer. Please bring your own drinks - we will have some bottled water. I am hoping to keep the cost to about the same as last year at $40 p/p.

More information will be sent closer to the date.

Please respond 'register or decline' as soon as possible but no later than July 4th so I can confirm with Village Grocer.

Please join us on Thursday August 21st at Gerd's office for our Fireside meeting. As most of you know this is a chance for members to give their input to President Danny as to what you would like to see the club 'doing' this Rotary year.

Gerd will be paying for the food and drinks - wine, beer and soft drinks,so there is no cost for this event. Thank you so much Gerd.

Please respond by midday Tuesday 19th (register or decline) as Gerd needs to know how many will be attending to order the food.

There will of course be no lunch meeting on the Wednesday.

Please join us for the visit by our District Governor, Niecy Dillon-Tyrovolas. This will be a joint meeting with other Scarborough Clubs. She will be telling us about the initiatives for our District this Rotary year.

Please note there will not be any lunch meeting this week.

Please join us for our Christmas / Holiday Dinner at Smash Restaurant. Quite a few of you have been there before for Pub Nights. It will be more 'festive' there than Floga's as George (the owner) does not allow any decorations to be put up. (You will be choosing from the menu so there is no set price.) 

I have to confirm the number of attendees to them a few days before, so please respond 'register' or 'decline' by November 15th.

Please join us for our Christmas / Holiday lunch on Wednesday December 17th at Floga's. As in past years Floga's will be serving a special Christmas type lunch - chicken or turkey with potatoes and vegetables. This will be the usual lunch cost of $25.

Dave Hardy will be leading a 'seasonal sing-a-long'. We encourage you to invite your significant other, family members and friends. Also to 'get in the mood' we encourage you to wear something seasonal - shirt, sweater, hat, even socks!    

If you will be attending and want the special lunch we have to know by Friday 12th, so please respond 'register or decline'. (If you want to attend but do not want the lunch you can choose from the menu.)
